应尼泊尔政府文化、旅游与民航部下属蓝毗尼发展信托（Lumbini Development Trust）及合作方The Promised Land的正式邀请，北京德路安建筑规划设计研究院（BDLA）张勋院长团队一行，于2023年12月11日抵达尼泊尔蓝毗尼，出席次日举行的拉玛格拉玛佛塔（Ramagrama Stupa）修复、保护与开发项目启动仪式，并向尼泊尔政府及相关机构正式汇报我院主持编制的《悲智愿行 智慧之光 —— 尼泊尔蓝毗尼圣园（北区）总体规划》方案。

Lumbini, Nepal, December 11, 2023

Upon the official invitation from Lumbini Development Trust (under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Government of Nepal) and its partner The Promised Land, the team led by Dr. Xun Zhang, President of Beijing De Lu An Architectural Planning and Design Institute (BDLA), arrived in Lumbini, Nepal on December 11, 2023. The team will attend the launch ceremony of the Ramagrama Stupa Restoration, Preservation and Development Project the next day, and formally present the master plan Compassion, Wisdom, Aspiration, Action: Light of Wisdom — Master Plan for the Northern Zone of Lumbini Sacred Garden, Nepal compiled by BDLA to the Government of Nepal and relevant institutions.

拉玛格拉玛佛塔始建于公元前600年，是全球现存唯一一座自阿育王时代起便未被扰动、完整保存佛陀真身舍利的圣迹，距今已有超2600年历史，是佛教文化中极具分量的世界文化遗产。本次启动仪式由尼泊尔政府主导，蓝毗尼发展信托与The Promised Land联合举办，尼泊尔总理普拉昌达（Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda"）将亲自为佛塔复建项目总规划揭幕，来自全球的高僧大德也将共同主持世界和平祈福法会，是尼泊尔乃至全球佛教文化领域的里程碑盛事。

Dating back to 600 BC, the Ramagrama Stupa is the only remaining relic stupa in the world that has remained undisturbed since the era of Emperor Ashoka, preserving the authentic sacred relics of the Buddha. With a history of over 2,600 years, it is a world cultural heritage of great significance in Buddhist culture. The launch ceremony, led by the Government of Nepal and co-hosted by Lumbini Development Trust and The Promised Land, will be a milestone event in the Buddhist cultural field of Nepal and even the world. The Prime Minister of Nepal, Right Honorable Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), will personally unveil the master plan for the stupa restoration project, and eminent monks from around the world will jointly preside over the World Peace Prayer Ceremony.

作为受邀出席的中方设计机构代表，我院张勋院长团队全程见证这一文化盛事，并在仪式期间向尼泊尔政府、蓝毗尼发展信托及相关合作方，全面汇报为蓝毗尼圣园北区量身打造的总体规划方案。方案以“悲智愿行 智慧之光”为核心理念，深度融合尼泊尔本土文化、佛教精神与现代文旅发展需求，旨在通过科学的规划设计，守护蓝毗尼作为佛陀诞生地的文化根脉，推动圣园北区的保护、活化与可持续发展，助力蓝毗尼打造世界级佛教文化圣地与文旅融合标杆。

As the representative of the invited Chinese design institution, the team led by Dr. Xun Zhang of BDLA witnessed this grand cultural event in its entirety, and comprehensively presented the tailor-made master plan for the Northern Zone of Lumbini Sacred Garden to the Government of Nepal, Lumbini Development Trust and relevant partners during the ceremony. With the core concept of "Compassion, Wisdom, Aspiration, Action: Light of Wisdom", the plan deeply integrates Nepalese local culture, Buddhist spirit and modern cultural tourism development needs. It aims to protect the cultural roots of Lumbini as the birthplace of the Buddha through scientific planning and design, promote the protection, activation and sustainable development of the Northern Zone of the Sacred Garden, and help Lumbini build a world-class Buddhist cultural holy land and a benchmark for cultural and tourism integration. 

蓝毗尼作为佛陀诞生地，是中尼文化交流的重要纽带。本次受邀出席佛塔复建仪式并汇报总体规划，是我院深耕宗教文化建筑与文旅规划领域的重要成果，也标志着我院的规划设计方案获得尼泊尔政府的高度认可，为中尼两国在文化遗产保护、文旅产业合作领域搭建了坚实桥梁。未来，我院将持续深化与尼泊尔相关机构的合作，以专业的设计力量助力蓝毗尼文化遗产保护与发展，推动中尼文化交流再上新台阶。  

As the birthplace of the Buddha, Lumbini is an important link for cultural exchanges between China and Nepal. This invitation to attend the stupa restoration ceremony and present the master plan is an important achievement of BDLA's deep cultivation in the field of religious and cultural architecture and cultural tourism planning. It also marks that BDLA's planning and design scheme has been highly recognized by the Government of Nepal, building a solid bridge for cooperation between China and Nepal in the fields of cultural heritage protection and cultural tourism industry. In the future, BDLA will continue to deepen cooperation with relevant Nepalese institutions, help protect and develop Lumbini's cultural heritage with professional design strength, and promote cultural exchanges between China and Nepal to a new level.
