APA DLAI Start Nanjing Design Project【Activities2010】

      July 28, 2010, APA (American Planning Association) & DLAI together with world-renowned urban design master Professor Grover E Mouton officially launched two Urban Planning and Design Projects of Nanjing City on the 86th floor of Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai, China.

      The Projects was made by a Joint Team of U.S. &China Experts.

      APA team of experts was invited to do the conceptual planning of "Golden Ox Lake" and "Longpao New Town", in preparations for World Youth Olympic Games of Nanjing City.As a member of the joint working team, DLAI will provide assistances to professor Mouton work in China, and will fly to Washington DC and New Orleans to complete mid-term and final results with the U.S. experts.

      Strategic Vision of the birthplace of world's folk song "Jasmine Flower" —"Golden Ox Lake":

      As the birthplace of a world-renowned folk song "Jasmine Flower ", where water games of World Youth Olympic Games will be hold (2014 World Youth Olympic Games will be held in Nanjing, China.)  As a number of national and provincial training center bring strategic opportunities.

      New Heights of Nanjing Across-River Development, the green future of Longpao New Town:

 

      With strategies of push on the overall progress of Nanjing across river development, and with the construction of Nanjing Yangtze River NO. 4 Bridge and the Metro line 11, Longpao New Town has been brought strategic opportunities of construction and development. Longpao New Town has the only remaining natural green coastline of Nanjing Yangtze River, a vast wetland of Yangtze River, the best waterfront shoreline, and certainly will become a model of quality of life in Nanjing area.
